Three dimensional images

We took pictures as a class in the Strip District of Pittsburgh. The things that stuck out to photograph for me were the small oddities in some of the shops.

Critique I

I noticed that when looking at my work again there were many things that reminded me of the kind dirty beauty of the city. First of all I took a lot of pictures of trash in the afternoon light. There's something strange about that light can make simple things interesting to look at. I've always had fun checking out the stuff I see walking back and forth from school each day.  I included the picture of Brandon because I feel like it has this dark gritty urban feeling.
